Your First Appointment
Every homeopathic journey begins with listening.
During your initial consultation, you will be invited to share your child's story in depth. Together, we will explore your primary concerns alongside pregnancy and birth, developmental and health history, significant illnesses or injuries, current life stressors, and family health patterns. Every detail helps us understand your child as a whole person and guides an individualized treatment plan.
Before your appointment, you will receive intake forms to complete, allowing us to begin understanding your child's story before we meet.
Our aim is to identify a homeopathic remedy that reflects the whole person rather than isolated symptoms. When appropriate, additional remedies may be recommended to support the body's natural healing processes and longstanding patterns of imbalance. Because caring for a child with complex needs affects the whole family, homeopathic support for parents or caregivers may also be offered when appropriate.
To develop the most individualized prescription, we draw on classical homeopathic case-taking, repertorization, intuitive assessment, somatic inquiry, and other approaches that help us better understand your child's unique experience.
Above all, we believe healing is a partnership. We work alongside you with openness, curiosity, and compassion, recognizing that you know your child best. We honour the deep intuition parents—especially mothers—hold for their children and are passionate about helping families grow in the knowledge and confidence to understand the remedies their child receives and become active participants in the healing process.
Working with Children
While we are based in North Vancouver, BC, we work virtually with children and families around the world, creating a safe, nurturing space where each child's story can be explored with care and compassion. For more complex cases, including children with autism or PANS/PANDAS, follow-up appointments are typically recommended every 4–6 weeks after the initial consultation. Every child's path to healing is unique, but we generally recommend ongoing support for at least 6–12 months, and sometimes longer, to support meaningful, lasting change.
Virtual consultations are designed to meet each child and family where they are. For many families, especially those caring for children with complex needs, leaving home can feel challenging, and virtual appointments offer the comfort and flexibility of meeting from a familiar environment where your child feels most at ease.
Speaking openly about your child's health and your concerns without your child present often allows parents to share more freely and openly. It is also often helpful to see a photograph or short video of your child to gain a deeper understanding of their unique temperament, expressions, and way of experiencing the world.
During each consultation, we continue to build a deeper understanding of your child by exploring their health history, behaviours, preferences, sensitivities, life experiences, and the patterns that make them uniquely who they are. Above all, our priority is that both you and your child feel safe, supported, and deeply understood throughout the healing process.
